As an economist, a mom and a wife, I get things done for Whatcom County because I’m honest, I listen, and I work across party lines using evidence and data, not ideology. I bring real-life experience to the State Senate. 

When a community “shows up” as much as Whatcom County does, it needs a State Senator who works just as hard. You can count on me every day to put the people of Whatcom County first.

I work for you, not big corporations, and I want to keep kids healthy and make sure you can afford the prescription medicines you need. Big tobacco and pharmaceutical companies want to put flavored vaping pens on the market to get your kids hooked and they want to make huge profits by keeping the prices of essential medicines like insulin high.

I successfully fought them both and won, which is why their corporate PACs are flooding your mailboxes and the airwaves with ads that lie about my record and support my opponent: they want to buy a seat in the State Senate. But I’m not their candidate; I work for you.
